Black Spinel
Spinel is a stone of protection and grounding. A stone of the root chakra, it helps pull spiritual energy down through the crown charging all chakras as it grounds this energy into your body. It is a stone of renewal and revitalization. Use the energetic prowess of spinel to release emotional baggage that is dragging you down. As you put on your necklace, draw focus to the lightness that is left behind when shedding old thought patterns or relationships that you have outgrown. It is also helpful to create shifts away from moments in your life when work has become all consuming. Awareness of imbalance is the first step to refocusing a life where work and play are both valued. Connect with the gentile balancing energy of black spinel to turn this awareness into action.
Diamond
Diamonds metaphysical properties very much mirror its physical attributes. It is a stone of strength and invincibility. It promotes absolute radiance, with a light & joyful undertone. Connected to the crown chakra, it connects one to spirit. In the fire of a diamond all colors can be seen, making it a stone of energetic alignment as well.
Hamsa Bead
Every omCAKIom necklace is adorned with a mother of pearl hamsa bead. The hamsa is a symbol of protection and blessings. Along with protection, it brings the wearer luck, happiness and good fortune. While stringing every hamsa bead, I do a meditation with visualization of the wearer being blessed and protected by white light. A little added energetic bonus!
Mother of Pearl
Mother of Pearl isn’t a mineral given it’s organic origins, but it is known to be very soothing and nourishing. Pearls are born when a piece of sand finds its way into a mollusk and irritates it until it attempts to sooth itself with a coating of nacre. The layers of the pearl are built out of mollusks innate desire to nourish itself. Metaphysical properties usually mirror physical properties, and that is true with mother of pearl. It encourages self-love and self-nurturing. It is also a stone of metamorphosis. The sand enters as a drab tan bit and emerges as a beautiful pearl.
