– I am Open Mala –

I am open to the fact that I am a sparkly dog who can always learn new tricks. I am open to the idea that growth is hard, but I am a light who is destined to grow for the greater good of myself and all of those around me. I am open to new perspectives that free me from previous belief systems. I am open to the abundant and unconditional love of the universe, who always has my back. I am open to a new journey leading me to my ultimate happiness. I am open to having faith in whatever life has in store for me, I shall rise to the occasion.  I am beautiful, I am open, I am happy.

Rhodocrosite

“Rhodochrosite is a gorgeous, deep raspberry-pink or rose-red crystal that is also called the Stone of the Compassionate Heart. It is the quintessential gemstone of love and compassion. Rhodochrosite brings true joy to one’s life, heals old wounds and makes it possible to love oneself and others unconditionally.”

Iolite

Iolite is a stone of vision. This particular kind of vision though, comes from the third eye. This stone is pleochromatic, meaning it changes color depending on how the light hits it. Most times it looks purple but sometimes it appears blue and even gray. Vikings used it as a compass stone on days when they couldn’t see the sun. By rotating this stone and paying attention to the color change, they could infer which direction they were facing. This stone is known to posses a very particular set of metaphysical properties that when all combined, help one to clearly see what is necessary in any situation. This could be in life, career, relationships, anything where you just can’t seem to see the endgame.

Iolite helps boost intuitive insight and build an inner trust on those intuitive feelings. It encourages a calm emotional state, allowing one the ability to understand more clearly why people behave the way they do or why certain things happen. It boosts responsibility, follow through and endurance. Iolite also can help one discern the difference between fear and intuition.

Kunzite

Kunzite is a beautiful pink/purple stone that connects the heart and crown chakra, mending any energetic tears between the two. It helps melt down the walls you may have built up around your heart. Metaphysically, it is known to encourage you to let go of this perceived need for protection and open you up to abundant and unconditional love. Use its gentle energy to lower your walls, let down your guard and honestly ask for what you need to feel truly loved. Set the intention to find not only what you can release, but more importantly that which you can accept.

Because of Kunzite’s connection to the crown chakra it really focuses on the abundant and unconditional love from the universe. Feeling this universal support allows one to really have a strong sense of faith.

Hamsa Bead

Every omCAKIom necklace is adorned with a mother of pearl hamsa bead. The hamsa is a symbol of protection and blessings. Along with protection, it brings the wearer luck, happiness and good fortune. While stringing every hamsa bead, I do a meditation with visualization of the wearer being blessed and protected by white light. A little added energetic bonus!

Mother of Pearl

Mother of Pearl isn’t a mineral given it’s organic origins, but it is known to be very soothing and nourishing. Pearls are born when a piece of sand finds its way into a mollusk and irritates it until it attempts to sooth itself with a coating of nacre. The layers of the pearl are built out of mollusks innate desire to nourish itself. Metaphysical properties usually mirror physical properties, and that is true with mother of pearl. It encourages self-love and self-nurturing. It is also a stone of metamorphosis. The sand enters as a drab tan bit and emerges as a beautiful pearl.
