“I am Calm”

Celestite’s serene, pale blue hues resonate with the throat chakra, promoting clear and harmonious expression. It helps sooth anxiety, offering a sense of calm and tranquility. Acting as a bridge between the earthly and spiritual planes, this crystal enhances spiritual awareness and fosters a deep sense of inner peace. It is much like an emotional weighted blanket. Celestite’s sweet energy helps you recenter when the fire around you is burning too hot. Use this celestite mala to feel a profound sense of calm.

Celestite also connects one to their angels. It opens the third eye allowing one to hear messages from their guides through intuition.

We chose the mantra “I am calm” for this celestite mala, but you can charge your mala with any mantra of your choosing. To do this, sit quietly with your beads in your hands. Imagine white light spreading through each bead to clear. Then repeat your new mantra, visualizing it filling every bead in the mala, VOILA!

Hamsa Bead

Every omCAKIom necklace is adorned with a mother of pearl hamsa bead. The hamsa is a symbol of protection and blessings. Along with protection, it brings the wearer luck, happiness and good fortune. While stringing every hamsa bead, I do a meditation with visualization of the wearer being blessed and protected by white light. A little added energetic bonus!

Mother of Pearl

Mother of Pearl isn’t a mineral given it’s organic origins, but it is known to be very soothing and nourishing. Pearls are born when a piece of sand finds its way into a mollusk and irritates it until it attempts to sooth itself with a coating of nacre. The layers of the pearl are built out of mollusks innate desire to nourish itself. Metaphysical properties usually mirror physical properties, and that is true with mother of pearl. It encourages self-love and self-nurturing. It is also a stone of metamorphosis. The sand enters as a drab tan bit and emerges as a beautiful pearl.

Five interesting facts about Celestite:

  1. Metaphysical Harmony: Celestite, also known as celestine, is renowned for its metaphysical properties. It is believed to have a high vibrational frequency that facilitates communication with celestial beings, spirit guides, and the angelic realm. Many practitioners use celestite in meditation to enhance spiritual awareness and deepen their connection to higher planes.
  2. Throat Chakra Alignment: The pale blue color of celestite is associated with the throat chakra, making it a powerful crystal for communication. It is thought to aid in expressing oneself with clarity and authenticity, promoting honest and open dialogue. Placing celestite on or near the throat during meditation may help balance and align the throat chakra.
  3. Strontium-Rich Mineral: Geologically, celestite is a mineral primarily composed of strontium sulfate. Its distinctive blue color is often attributed to trace amounts of strontium. Celestite crystals can form in sedimentary rocks and are commonly found in association with gypsum. The mineral’s name is derived from the Latin word “caelestis,” meaning celestial, highlighting its heavenly appearance.
  4. Crystal Habit Variety: Celestite exhibits a variety of crystal habits, including tabular, prismatic, and sometimes needle-like forms. These crystals can occur as individual prisms or as clusters. The delicate, intricate structures of celestite crystals contribute to its allure, making it a favorite among mineral collectors.
  5. Soluble in Water: Unlike many other crystals, celestite is slightly soluble in water. This solubility is due to the presence of strontium sulfate in its composition. Over time, exposure to water can cause gradual dissolution and alteration of celestite crystals, leading to unique geological formations. This solubility also makes it important to handle celestite with care and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
